With the announcement of “Noor Abu Dhabi”, Emirates water and electricity company (EWEC) gained the widespread attention all over the world. This project called as “Noor Abu Dhabi” will be termed as the largest single site solar project. This will be providing the capacity to cover the demand of 90000 people; the plant features more than 3.3 million solar panels. It is spread across the 8km of the area. UAE is best when it comes to the Energy & Fuel segment. It is Aiming at reducing the CO2 emission by 1 million metric tons, as stated by Gulf News. Noor Abu Dhabi will generate the renewable energy and this will enable to improve the use of natural resources.
Before Noor Abu Dhabi, the largest single solar panel was Dubai’s Mojammed bin Rashid AL Matoum Solar park. The purpose to increase the clean energy strategy is till 2050. With this move, UAE has set a benchmark for other countries. It was always obvious that UAE has a lot more access to energy and fuel segment. The launch of this project justifies the strategy of reducing domestic consumption of fossil fuels and to boost the export market. UAE has been distributer of energy and power from a very while. The benefit of land has been taken adversely by UAE. Countries like Japan and India are dependent of UAE in terms of fuel and power. UAE has its excellent infrastructure and trading which acts as revenue for developmental support and aims for future projects.
