Summit Arizona Medical Group announced the launch of the pain management program and welcomes three new multispecialty service providers: Ross Barker, who is the first pain-management specialist for SMGAZ; Amanda Andersen, MD; joins internal medicine group and pediatric teams for Summit Medical; and Toni Sharon, FNP, is a new family nurse in internal medicine. SMGAZ recently added pain management services at 5,620 W as part of its commitment to improving the quality of life of patients. Thunderbird Road, Glendale Suite. Suite G-2. The new Department, which is led by Dr. Barker, offers patients a range of ambulatory procedures, including arthritis pain, punching nervous and other sectional and somatic pain treatments to treat a broad range of pain and pain syndromes.
The focus in pain management is short-term pain, long-term pain, or constant (chronic) pain. pain management is aimed at preventing and promoting pain in the recovery and healing process to enhance the quality of life.
Dr. Barker graduated from the Osteopathic Medicine University of New England. He graduated from the Tufts University of Medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Médical Center in Boston MA. He later earned his fellowship degree from Harvard Medical School and received a double board in anesthesiology and pain management credential.
The internal medicine and pediatric teams are joined by Mr. Andersen, MD. SMGAZ. In the transition from pediatric to adult care, she is particularly interested. Dr. Andersen as general practitioner diagnoses and treats the common and complicated conditions of primary care. Dr. Andersen graduated with her medical degree from the Medical College of Southern Illinois in Springfield and finished her residency at the Medical College of Phoenix at the University of Arizona.
