Air Products, a leading industrial gases company in operation for more than 75 years, is set to deliver on-site nitrogen to Samwha Capacitor’s latest multi-layer ceramic capacitor plant. The plant is being constructed right next to the company’s existing plant in Yongin, South Korea. The Samwha Capacitor Group is Korea’s forerunning passive electronic component dealer. An associate of the group, Samwha Capacitor, is among the chief MLCC manufacturers in Korea.
Air Products has already been delivering on-site nitrogen to the existing Samwha Capacitor in Yongin. The plant is in charge of producing layer ceramic capacitors for the automotive and electronics sector. Having signed the agreement, Air Products will widen its nitrogen capacity to account for the growing demand of the existing, and upcoming, Samwha Capacitor plants.
The president of Air Products Korea, Kyo-Yung Kim stated how Air Products is pleased to further fortify their association with Samwha Capacitor and be chosen yet again to support their progress and development. He added how developments in automotive, 5G and various other modern technologies are predicted to continue being a chief driver of MLCC demand, and that their safety, dependability, operational excellence and experience will continue to position them to add to the sturdy development of Korea’s MLCC market.

Air Products also supplies many producers for the generation of chief constituents used in electric vehicles, such as rechargeable batteries.
