Accenture purchases companies in France, Spain, and Sweden

Accenture bought Silveo in France last week and added 50 employees to the French company. Silveo is a company specializing in manufacturing and supply chain processes founded in 2014 and headquartered in Neuilly sur Seine.

Olivier Girard, Accenture’s regional Managing Director in France and Benelux, said that the acquisition also enables the company to adapt to the quickly growing needs of technology and production customers.

In the acquisition, Silveo will be incorporated into the practice of Accenture’s Industry X.0 – the Digital Technology Division, which strengthens the way companies produce and manage their products and services and industrial facilities.

The transfer comes months after the acquisition of Cirruseo by Accenture’s French arm. In 2017, the acquisitions in France included the acquisitions of Arismore and Altima and OCTO Technology in 2016.

Pragsis Bidoop

Accenture in Spain acquired Pragsis Bidoop from its applied intelligence business in September to add 200 specialists. Big Data, Arti-Intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics are the specialist products of Pragsis Bidoop that serve its customers from Madrid, Barcelona and London offices.

Accenture Applied Intelligence now employs over 20,000 professionals worldwide including over 6,000 information scientists and data engineers after the transaction.


In August, Accenture acquired Northstream, an advisory firm based in Stockholm. Founded in 1998, Northstream works at the crossroads between commercial technology and mobile technology to provide a variety of management and digital consultancies to communications service providers and networking providers.

Main resources include policy creation, innovation and product analysis, insights into market research and change delivery. Northstream also has 5 G, internet connectivity, and cloud services experience.
